BIL-OL

Bil-ol drops

Bil-ol drops are a liquid solution intended for inhalation, in which the active component is a mixture of menthol and vaporizing essential oils. The warm Bil-ol steam moistens the irritated mucous membrane of the airways and helps relieve cough caused by irritation of larynx, epiglottis and bronchi.

The essential oils and mint in Bil-ol drops have antibacterial, anti-inflammatory, spasmolytic (relief of spasms) analgesic (relief from pain) and expectorant (enhancing coughing up/spitting) effects.

The essential oils help relieve bronchial congestion, loosening the mucus and facilitating expectoration.

Bil-ol drops are recommended for:

  • relieving cold symptoms;
  • inflammation of nasal mucous membrane and sinuses;
  • congestion of upper respiratory airways;
  • facilitating expectoration of thick phlegm;
  • alleviating headache symptoms.

FOR EXTERNAL USE ONLY (INHALATION)!

Children 4-12 years of age:

Pour 250 ml of hot (65оС) water in a bowl and add 2 to 4 Bil-ol inhalation drops. Breathe in the steam deeply through the open mouth or through the nose for 5-10 minutes. Repeat the inhalation twice to three times a day.

Adults and children over 12 years of age:

Pour 250 ml of hot (65оС) water in the container and add 5 to 8 Bil-ol inhalation drops. Breathe in the steam deeply through the open mouth or through the nose for 5-10 minutes. Repeat the inhalation twice to three times a day.

After inhalation it is recommended to avoid sudden changes of air temperature.

For more effective inhalation we recommend the use of Bil-ol inhaler, which is anatomically designed. Inhalation could be done by breathing in through the nose or through the mouth, depending on the treatment needed

Bil-ol  gel

Bil-ol in its composition incorporates a hydrophilic base which contains 6% mixture of essential oils from eucalyptus, turpentine, juniper and thyme, 3% camphor and 2% menthol. Bil-ol gel has a vasodilatory (widening blood vessels), antiseptic (antimicrobial), expectorant ( enhancing coughing up/spitting) and analgesic (relief from pain) effects. Used locally on the skin, it speeds up the blood flow, producing a sensation of warmth accompanied with mild anesthetic action, thus helping alleviate neuralgic and muscle pain.

Used by means of inhalation, it relieves congestion of respiratory airways, loosening the phlegm. The Bil-ol gel essential oils enhance the blood flow in the tissues and have an antiseptic (antimicrobial) effect, thus relieving inflammatory processes in the upper respiratory airways.

Bil-ol gel absorbs easily into the skin, without leaving an oily residue or staining the clothes.

Bil-ol gel is recommended for:

  • alleviating cold symptoms;
  • inflammation of nasal mucous membrane and sinuses;
  • congestion of upper respiratory airways;
  • facilitating expectoration of thick phlegm;
  • alleviating headache symptoms;
  • relieving rheumatic and muscle pain.
