Marshmallow tea

In June and July marshmallow bears light pink to white flowers. The beautiful flowers are alluring, but it is the root of this plant that contains most mucilage and is used to prepare the marshmallow tea.

Unlike other teas, marshmallow root is infused in cold or lukewarm water. Pour 150 ml cold or lukewarm water over a teaspoonful of marshmallow root and leave to infuse for 30 minutes stirring occasionally and then strain it. Drink the tea sip by sip, 2-3 times daily.

Each packaging contains 50 g marshmallow root.
