The capsules contain an extract from Origanum heracleoticum L., a variety of oregano, which contains the active ingredients carvacrol and thymol, which contribute to normal functioning of the urinary tract. The essential oil from this plant is characterized with a moderate diuretic and potent antibacterial effect, as bactericide acting on a broad spectrum of bacteria. Its use is recommended for treatment of cystitis accompanied with hematuria and urethritis, but it is also used for treatment of posttraumatic and static edema as well as for irrigation in bacterial and inflammatory conditions of the lower urinary tract. The capsules may also be used as protection of the urinary system in persons susceptible to frequent urinary infections.
The capsules are recommended for:
- maintaining normal functioning of urinary tract
Recommended daily dose and method of administration
- First 3-5 days: 2 capsules, 3 times daily.
- After 3-5 days: 1 capsule, 3 times daily.
