The leaf of the herb Petroselinum crispum is used as a spice, decoration for many foods and for preparing tea. It is rich in nutritious substances, among which vitamin C, calcium, magnesium and iron. Renowned for its diuretic properties, it helps getting rid of the excess of fluids in the body and is used for edematous conditions, high blood pressure and diets.
